Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, And Nobody

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant. -Robert Louis Stevenson-

For all my Teenagers out there

To My Teenager

It's hard sometimes, when people are
changing their lives. To understand
each other or even talk

You are struggling right now for
independence and to live your own
way...And sometimes we struggle for
the strength to let you do it

I wish now and then for the days
when a kiss and hug could make your
world bright again but your world is
more difficult now and you want to
make your own way in it which is as
it should be

I want you to know that when you get
hurt. I will hurt with you and that deep
down, I will always have confidence in
your ability to find your place in
your world

When you need a caring heart or
someone to listen to your deepest
dreams or concerns. I will be there
for you because I love
and care for you

Above all else, know that I love
and care for you.

So Beautiful!!!

(One day at work I was talking to one of my friends about how girls have always hated on me in school and normal every day outings, Another one of my coworkers over heard me and told me to look up this poem by Se7en. I wish all girls would read this and think and I also will do my part to change the women in the mirror!)

She was so beautiful she had the body of a goddess
Her makeup was flawless,
She had roller coaster curve that made me nauseous,
And women would grab their men and become over cautious.

Just in case, that perfect face decided to make her relationship a target because she was so beautiful. Women would degrade her, down play her, state her beauty was faults
with comments like “I bet she don’t look that good if she takes all the makeup off”
She had charisma, she had confidence and Women would assume she was conceded and thought she was all of that because she could have any man in the room because she was so beautiful.

And while these sisters were paying her so much negative attention,
tearing her down with their insecurities and opinions
The more they talked the more I listened, But not one time did I hear that sister mention that she was so beautiful.

They said it for her, she didn’t,
In this story she’s the victim because women don’t see a sister they see competition.
They see skin and hair, they see cloths and shoes
They don’t relies she goes through the same things that they do.

She has to deal with disrespect being treated like a sex object Sexual harassment
at the work place just to get a check because she is so beautiful.
Just like them but they can’t get past their jealousy, envy and pride
so they judge her before getting to know who she is inside.

You see being pretty can be pretty painful and it’s sad that being beautiful has to hurt,
And it’s sad to be judge on outer appearance instead of getting to know that person first.
So she takes glamor shots, but not those glamor shot in a photo shoot or a photo booth,
But those low blows like “oh she a h*” “she a prostitute” or “those aren’t her real eyes”
“that is not her real hair”
“she know she is wrong for that outfit she could have found something else to wear”.

“She got stretch marks” “she must have kids”
“she has got no chest”, “her boobs to big”.
“She too skinny ““she too fat” “she too this” “she to that”
“she think she is the cute one in the bunch look at her friends man she is so beautiful she just can’t win” because she is so beautiful.

Beautiful beauty and the beast is within
and her sisters beat her down for being beautiful so now she starts to pretend like she is ugly and her outer beauty creates a monster inside that does ugly things
Give her more insecurities and lowers herself esteem
or she might become vain and promiscuous And after becoming burnt out on broken relationships and giving her best to men she finds safety and security in her same sex and becomes a lesbian.

Because another women is affectionately telling her that she is so beautiful So many women are uncomfortable with themselves so they hate and say stuff,
so many are not gay they just play tough,
need to take a look in the mirror and take off the makeup and I’m not talking about fashion Mary- Kay or Mac
I’m talking about the emotional makeup and baggage that is attached.

Before you say negative about a sister consider how you sound,
at that point your butt is a crab in the bucket why do you want to tear her down
And then some sisters are like “Well I am just speaking my mind”
Well I think your thoughts are clouded and your big mouth is blocking her shine.

Because when God made her he made her beautiful and he knew he made a gem
And next time you’re butt has something negative to say Direct your comments to him......
and she will still be beautiful.

What this letter means to me...

Hello Friends,

To give you a little background story.......when I was younger I did not understand what my mother meant by telling me that I was beautiful and that I am worth more than diamonds and gold.  I would just blow her off and figure she was just telling me that because she is my mom. Little did I know one day it would truly hit me right in the face when I read this letter.

Reading this letter let me see that I am worth more than diamonds and gold and so are you!!!

Let me explain this so you truly grasp what I'm saying.....

  • You are worth more than a man treating you like crap
  • You are worth more than someone talking to you with curse words
  • You are worth more than people disrespecting you
  • You are worth more then your friends down grading you because you dont have what they have
  • You are worth more than any name you have been called
  • You are worth more than family that treats you like you dont fit it
  • ..................Ect
There is so many more things I can name but I just wanted to give you a look at what you are really worth.  Like the letter says God did not take you from Adam's foot to be under him or his head to be above him, He took you from his rib to be beside him.

You are made to be equal and that includes anyone you come across. There might be people that you come across that live a different life style or don't have what you have...that does not make anyone better...remember people have made their own life choices and now they are living it out. Some are trying to better themselves and others have not found their way yet.

Remember that you are special and worth more than any precious stone on this earth.  God made you that way and know for sure that I believe it. :)

(Keep your chin up, stay strong, and don't change for anyone)

A Letter from God: "My Daughter"

My dear princess:

When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you, my dear, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils were too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.

Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man’s life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib – strong, yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man: his heart. His heart is the center of his being: his lungs hold the breath of life.

The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side.

You are My perfect angel. You are My beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and My eyes fill when I see the virtue in your heart. Your eyes – don’t change them. Your lips – how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose, so perfect in form. Your hands, so gentle to touch. I’ve caressed your face in your deepest sleep; I’ve held your heart close to mine.

Of all that lives and breathes, you are the most like Me. Adam walked with Me in the cool of the day, and yet he was lonely. He could not see Me or touch Me. He could only feel Me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with Me, I fashioned in you; My holiness, My strength, My purity, My love, My protection and support. You are special because you are an extension of Me. Man represents My image. Woman, My emotions. Together you represent the totality of God.

So, Man, treat Woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt Me. What you do to her, you do to Me. In crushing her, you damage your own heart, the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father.

Woman, support Man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness, show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

Your Father,
God
